Aaron Dunkerton was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a Solicitor in 2014. He was called to the Bar in 2018.
Aaron spent over a decade working at the Queensland Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. He was appointed the Principal Crown Prosecutor of Cairns. Aaron regularly appeared as Counsel in the Supreme and District Courts prosecuting complex and notable cases, including trials for murder, sexual and other serious violence, drug trafficking, and property offending.
At the private bar, Aaron accepts briefs in criminal law, domestic violence matters, inquests and commissions of inquiry, disciplinary proceedings, regulatory matters and family law. Aaron has appeared in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, as well as the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
